Barnum City Park
The Barnum City Park, bordered by the Moosehorn River, runs through the center of town. The park features:

Bear Lake Campground
This Carlton County operated facility is located at the city limits of Barnum on Bear Lake Road. There are no user fees for swimming, fishing, or picnicking.
There is a nominal fee for overnight camping. The park features:

Robert Johnson Memorial Park (RJM Park)
This recreational facility is available through a cooperative agreement by the city and the school district. Named after a longtime mayor and teacher in Barnum, the park is open to the public for all summertime activities, and no user fee is charged. The park features:

Hanging Horn Park
This city operated park is located along the Moosehorn River, just two miles from Barnum (about 1 1/4 miles down County Road 138. There is boat landing on the Moosehorn River that allows access to the Hanging Horn Lakes. This is a public park that charges nothing for boat landings and a nominal fee for nightly camping. This park also features a picnic area, campsites, and a public well.
